Alone
The “self-made” person is a myth.
No one ever succeeds alone.
Who cooks your meals?
Who pays the rent or the mortgage?
Who covers your tuition?
Who washes your uniform?
Who provides your equipment?
Who drives you to practice?
Who plays beside you?
Who plays against you
Who teaches you the game?
Who steadies you after a loss?
Who celebrates you after a win?
Who are the people that support you?
Gratitude feels nice.
Recognizing is better.
Saying “thank you” is better yet.
But here’s the real question:
Are you supporting them, too?
